What lies ahead.

It has been a year. Whether it was through hardships, joys, struggles, or accomplishments, I lived out many extremes in life this past rotation around the sun. I battled cancer, I became a father, I beat cancer, I started a new job, I wrote a book, I watched the Twins win a playoff series, and so much more. And as I look back on each of those and everything in between, the overwhelming feeling I have is gratefulness. Gratefulness for where I have been, where I am, and for what lies before me.

As I look ahead to the new year, I have decided to embark on a challenge that will take a lot of my time. In 2024, I am taking on the task of growing my hair back to the length it was before I lost it. As I undergo this new journey, I can only hope that all else in my life will be simple. But in case it is not, I know I will still end up right where I am supposed to.
